Chain identification

I broke a link of flat chain on my Henry bale loader today. How do you identify the size of flat chain? Same thing with roller chain; how do you
know if you have a #40, 50 60, etc. We don't have many ag related stores here so I often have to go to the Web to buy this stuff. Has anyone ever
come across a reference sheet that gives dimensions or identifying features?
Anyone know a source of Henry bale loader parts? I'd like to acquire some spares.

Length and width will give you the size. The table shown is for roller chain.

Steel detachable link chain has size number stamped on link if numerals haven't been worn off from use. JD & some other brands of pop-up hay loaders used size 62H link chain
