Can't believe it's been a yr since I started This day in History.

As I see a lot of views to this daily posting.
I'm going to continue this daily feature with some changes.
I'll only post a few events that happened on the day as well as add some birth dates as well as some deaths.
Hopefully they will be items that weren't previously posted.

Hoping you all enjoy the shorter version.
And please add events births or deaths you feel significant to include.

I'm not sure what time the today in history gets posted but it's early. I usually catch the history before leaving the house and then the daily funny at break time or lunch. Thanks to Blue Water Massey and to Jon f for all they do .

Thanks everyone.
I'm glad so many have enjoyed this daily post.
Over the past yr I avoided posting things in history relating to music, theater and sports unless it was significantly important as in the 1st of something and will continue on this line.
As I will only be posting a few events daily it will be a lot less cluttered with major war events.
And I'll be more focused on tractor, automotive and AG related topics as I find them.
A few wondered at what time I posted this and for the most part I post between 12 and 1 am est
as long as my internet is working or I'm not on an emergency repair call
