Worked ok except my mower doesn't like bird's nest on the ground. It'll start clogging up.

Looks good. Those were good mowers in their day for sure. When you get plugged, can you just back up to clear it most of the time? Bob

I have the exact same mower (hitch and PTO hookup too) and it still works pretty good except it seems to "trip" pretty easy. Great units for use behind older tractors like your H.

Around here, its mole hills. Especially early in the season, when the dirt is still a little moist. Grrrrr. . .
I bought a used Taarup disc mower in '76, and don't care if I never use another sickle bar mower.

I have a 27V. It cuts well. We have crawfish mounds to hit but what causes problems are fire ant mounds. They're moist and crumbly and will "ride" on the bar and then the grass starts piling up.....
