Price on my 1949 Case DC-4?

Hey guys and gals i have a 1949 case DC-4 that i purchased from my great uncle who bought it new. Im looking for a price range it is at now. The PTO wont engage and it only turns really slow, it has a draw bar and no 3PTH it has a new magneto, new original seat, the right brake doesnt work and the left brake doesnt stop it only slowing it down a little, it floats through gears good and has no calcium in the tires, also has a new battery. I was thinking it would be worth around $1200 but im not sure, thanks
 
My gut opinion here, no facts or sales to back this up. Your price of 1200$ would be ok if the tractor starts and runs well. I would consider that the very top of the price range for that tractor. Bottom of the range would be 400-800$. Of course the "new" mag was pricey and battery. What the tire condition is a really big part of the price. Without the eagle hitch the tractor is restricted to pull type implements, and no lpto also reduce its desirability. One other factor is the mph of the fastest gear, if it won't run 10mph it not desirable as a tractor ride tractor. jmho gobble
 
Some minor issues there but they could be fixed.
A lot depends on location, condition of tires, tin and even paint.

I looked at a Case VAC not long ago that ran like a Swiss watch.
But the tires were junk and it had been painted white with what
looked like white latex house paint that was peeling.
The tin was in poor shape and incomplete. I left it there.

The selling price plus tires would have been more than it was
worth to me. Not to mention the clean up and re-painting.
It had 3pt hitch and came with a back blade and chains for $800.

Local tractor parts guy has a Case SC for sale, 3pt hitch and
remote hydraulics. Runs very well. Tires usable but not great.
He's asking $1000 obo. Central Michigan.

Pictures might help guys in your area give you a better idea.
