How do you adjust the regulator on a LINDSAY 80 air compressor. It has a 4cyl air cooled Wisconsin engine #4VG. I also have a problem w/exhaust valves sticking open. Any suggestions?? I need manuals for the LINSAY 80 and for a CUMMINS diesel model 4B-3.9 liters. Thanks.

A regulator just has a knob on it which you can adjust the pressure up or down. Some of them have a knob which you can lock it in place. On those you usually pull out on the knob before turning.

Unsure what you mean by exhaust valves. In the tank where the pump puts air into the tank there is a one way valve (unloader valve)which the pressure switch unloads pressure from the main line. This is so it doesn't take so much power at start up to get the thing turning. Otherwise it would be starting under pressure. The only fix is to replace the valve if it's sticking.
