I can honestly say that there is gold at the end of a rainbow. Several years ago my wife and two of my boys and myself saw a rainbow and the end was actually real close to us. We gave chase to see if we could catch the end of it. Well it took some serious driving and a good knowledge of the how the terrain laid, but we actually caught the end of it. And I can tell you that when the end passed over us everything looked as though it was plated with gold. No matter what color things were normally, it was a solid gold color. It didn't last but for a few seconds. But we all remember it very well to this day. I have tried a few times since to repeat that feat but have yet to accomplish it. Had been real close once though.

I saw a double rainbow while on a Hawaiian cruse, my first. So will there be two pots of gold at the end? geo

I saw one the other day and knew dad was out in the field on his Farmall Super M and I could see him heading right for it so I sprinted in the house and got the camera and just got him while he was under it. About 5 minutes after I took the picture he got drenched by a downpour and looked like a wet rat!
