I hope the'er wrong again

A few years ago I got a bill from the IRS saying I owed 68 thousand more. It turned out some dummy at the IRS made a mistake adding. I didn't owe anything. A couple days ago I got another bill from the IRS again saying I owed 16 thousand more. I already paid them a lot as, capital gains taxes this year, from a 1/2 acre I had to sell. The sale was to pay for a subdivision the city made me do, to divide the land with my brother. This was land my Mom left us. I gave the info to my tax guy, and hope he has good news Monday. Like I said I hope they are wrong again. Stan

That's why its a smart thing to have an accountant that specializes in taxes to do them for you,if you'd of done your own taxes you'd be up a crick with no paddle as they used to say.Hope everything works out well for you.
