anyone use 3-18-18 in furrow with the totally tubulars for soybeans? if so , how much per acre were you using?

I always broadcast 10-52 at 100lbs, the fall before. never had any luck fertilizing soybeans when planted. always considered it a waste of money.

They say no nitrogen on soybeans in fertilizer but inoculate the beans, that provides the nitrogen.

We preplant broadcast about 200 pounds per acre of a custom blend with about 10 pounds per acre nitrogen. A small amount of N gives the beans a boost til the roots are fully nodulated and begin fixing their own N. Ben

We spread anywhere from none to 200 pounds of either 9-23-31-or 6-15-40 I like the 6-15-40 for beans as it gives them some N to start then the potash to keep them going. I like the other for corn.
With dry fertilizer I always thought you are working with the last years fertilizer anyway. Another words always a year behind on the fertilizer.
