You are looking at one of the 33 local graduates from Idaho Virtual Academy..... Graduated with Honors of course.... ;) What a feeling! Life goes on! Casey turned 18 last week, and I'll be 18 next Friday, the 10th! Pretty exciting to be honest.... ;)

Congratulations, Bryce. If you don't mind my asking, how did you happen to choose a virtual academy?

Very nice looking family. I sure wish you the best. A college degree is sure not mandatory, but will definitely open doors for you in the future. Good luck with all you try - Bob

Making great choices seems to be a trend you have mastered. I believe you will have a fine future. As A University Professor, I would seriously recommend a continuation of your mechanical education. I teach Technology Management, and Manufacturing. There are several programs in Idaho including ISU Pocatello. Getting a degree is a real game changer. You have the potential. Jim

Congratulations to you on your graduation.

Y'all make a nice looking couple.

Thanks for sharing your photos with us.

Congratulations on your Graduation, and an early Happy Birthday. Don't be afraid of getting more education. You can lose everything, but they cannot take your education from you.

Congratulations Bryce from Downunder!
You've come a long way in a short time and we are all proud of you.
(That's the nicest photo of you and Casey so far too)

All the best for your future

Congratulations Bryce! Now like some of the others have stated go get some more education. You've got a good mechanical head on your shoulders and you would make a great engineer. I work with way to many young kids with engineering degrees that can't even change a flat tire on there car. You'll will never have that problem.

Well, I don't really FEEL huge, but, when ever I see pictures like these, it reminds me that both of my parents are taller than usual, and I am considerably taller than them...

This is my neighbor Jim, neighbor Karen, and neighbors (honorary grandparents) Gary and Lisa.

As far as schooling goes, I don't plan on going to college in the NEAR future. I have two very good job oppertunites, that will be offering me a life long job, good pay, and most importantly, something I would like to do! I am going to try one, or both of them out this fall / winter. One is a summer Job, and one is a winter job. Both are flexible enough that I can do my own farming as well, so, as of right now it seems like a win win win to me?!?

For further education, I am considering smaller goals. Welding certificate, basic diesel tech, Class A Drivers License / class, etc. Lots of small things like that, of which I can use for my own self, and jobs.

My mom didn't like the idea of me being in public school from the start, so they decided to home school me. For the first half of 6th grade I went to a charter school in town, and that really just didn't go well. I was bullied, for a short while.... After that, and bad grades, being sick every weekend. My Boy Scouting had really taken a dive, and I wasn't progressing. I couldn't keep up with chores, much less work on tractors, etc. We just quit, and came right back to the home schooling. It IS a public school, that gets state funding, and all in all, I think it is a very good choice for a good getter kind of kid. ;)

Congratulations and thanks for the pictures. You have a great family.

I will add this about more education. IMO If you want to work FOR someone else, then a traditional college education is a necessity. If you want to eventually want to own your own business then trade school and some business courses are the way to go. Everyone I know that has a regular BS or MA degree works for someone. Most that I know that own their own business and are very financially secure, invested their money in building their business and didn't give it to colleges. Your mileage may vary

I agree 100%

There are some jobs you need a college
education to get. But if you are willing to
work hard, know how balance a check book,
and learn (a lot of times through trial and
error ) how to run a business - then you
can make it on your own.

Bryce, like I tell all the young folks around here. Get your education!!! That is one thing that nobody can take away from you. It has meant the world to my Dad, myself. my wife, and our 2 sons and their wives. Started with my Dad graduating Clemson in 1937.

Congrats....what happened to the full ride promised you at UofI?

New graduate comes running out the door of auditorium and yells "World, I just got my B.A." World says "Sit down and I will teach you the rest of the alphabet."

Both of you, make sure and enjoy each day and each days events and each other especially. You've heard the country song "You're Gonna Miss This " ? It's true. Good to look ahead with anticipation but cherish the present because tomorrow it's gone forever. At 65 yrs old I've learned it the hard way. You can do much better. You and your gal kneel before bed at nite and together, thank the Lord for the Blessed day you've both had and a safe tomorrow. A great looking couple...make it a threesome with God...it'll be forever.

Well kiddo, I guess you actually CAN claim that "you're head and shoulders above the rest". (GRIN)

Congratulations! That's your first step into furthering your career. Keep learning. keep the positive attitude and keep the great personality you have and you'll go far. Your parents should be very proud of you. Your a great young man. Good Luck
