All the rain we were promised, went around us. Looked out the dinning room window this morning and saw 3 irrigation systems going.

Grass hasn't slowed down yet, wish it did.

Are you dry too?

We got enough rain (finally) yesterday to soak the ground down fairly well. Have a couple of days of rain forecasted for Sunday through Wed. We'll see.

Finally had a storm roll thru southern ind yesterday. I was on north end of storm and got .7 in but south of me got well over 4 in total.

They could send some of that 4" to the northern part of state. Our grass was turning brown and we got a 1/2" the other day but that didn't really help.

Around here we're listening to Johnny Cash....."Five feet high and rising". Actually I'm not in the flooding area but we are way beyond saturated. I've had water standing in the fields for weeks now.

Be nice to get the whole state a good couple of inches. We worked a lot of ground wet and really need that shower. Guessers saying another round tomorrow for down here.

In my area of Central IL, we've been getting some rain like .5 a week. Its been pretty spotty 40 miles northwest then recieved 4" the other night. but.... they need it, sandier soil.

you can hear that corn a popin at night, really growing fast!

We've had an abundance of rain here in eastern Nebraska over the last several weeks. I've seen some farmers irrigating 'cause the ground is crusting on crops trying to emerge.
