Navy Blue Angels

Local news one of the Nave Blue Angels here in Tennessee for Air show Saturday has crashed. Not good. Last crash they had was 2007 but looks like they lost another one this afternoon.

The Air Force Thunderbirds also lost a plane in Colorado, but the pilot ejected OK.

I just watched the Thunderbirds this past weekend in Clovis, NM. Did they loose one this week?

Very sad , please offer prayers ,. From the news fooitage it loox as if the plane was bellying out too damlow and hit the ground and skidded to a stop ,..other people have survived such a thing,. but fate said NO Today ,./the accident seems similar to Earhardt taking the wall ,,. from the news link it did not seem to be a serious accident,,. but I guess a fella needs to be there ,, but I am really glad I was not

Flying like they do is high risk. They are bound to have some accidents. My heart goes out to the family!

Not 10 minutes ago I was watching the news on a Rockford Il. tv station and they talked about a Rockford connection to the pilot. Don't remember if it was last year or year before they were here for the air show and the cute little tv news babe Christy flew with that pilot for 52 minutes I think it was. They showed the tape again with the camera on her when she passed out.

I think you saw the Thunderbird's F-16 on the news. it bellied in. The Blue's F-18 was a big greasy crater and a forest fire, like most crashes. Prayers for all involved.

The pilot cmdr Kuss flew here just 3 weeks ago. Believe he was a USMC f18 pilot before joining the Angel's. R.i.p. Lt. Cmdr. Kuss.
