A New Mini Filly Yesterday

I see it out in the lot nursing while mowing in the field behind the lot. Dixie came with the camera and took pictures as I shut in Pearl and the new foal. I put the pictures without comment on Tales under a picture story. This is the first mid afternoon foal we have had. All other have came while we slept in the night or early morning. Dixie just named it Bella.
We only had three bred mares for this spring and Kacie lost hers early and now we have two new fillies. Both paints.
 
Were going to look at a mini stud latter today for our mini filly/mare. The stud we have right now seems to be a dud stud so he will be finding a new home soon. Going to let him go for the same price we got him for which was a big goose egg.

Bella was born yesterday and this morning she came up to me while I was feeding her mother. After I rocked her and let her down she stuck her head thru the gate to smell my pant leg when I came back with hay. She is an inch shorter than Trixie.
This mornings picture with my body camera. Wide angle lens distorts the pictures.

That is sort of funny since the filly/mare we have is named Bella. We have had her for 2 or 3 years and she has been with Rocky every day and well has yet o give us a foal so in that time one would think they would have produced at least one
