After running it for sometime the 3 pt will not go up. If engine is turned off and restarted they work for a little. Any help or ideas of this issue will be a great help. Thanks.

Pump could be getting weak and the fluid is to thin for it to work well. Or if it has a filter in the system the filter could be clogged up

I will suggest that you first perform all of the hydraulic system maintenance that is in your owners manual, then post back with what you get.

I had a 424 IH that I got some free hydro oil (303 if I remember) and it did the same thing. When
I went back to Hy tran all was ok. Any changes in the look of the oil? Water? Foam? A pressure
gauge would be informative if the pump is worn out.

Find big line that goes from pump back to under step. Has banjo bolt take out, get drain pan first if runs out fast screen ok. 30 years of stuff in it. Has 4 bolts that hold it in wash and put new oil in

Now why would anyone do that when they can post a random question on here and get many replies ranging from a slight possibility to the downright idiotic and then act upon them.
