I don't have a big farm , but seem to do hay all summer . 70 acres first cut haylage through the harvester comes first . Then another 70 acres of first cut baleage. Followed by about 80 acres of dry grass hay. I will do 3 cuts on the first 70 acres with the forage harvester , and three cuts on the second 70 acres that will get baled and wrapped. Add it all up and I will cut some 500 acres of hay in total. Will burn up some where near 100 gallons of gas through my swather cutting it all, around $500.00 worth of gas , maybe a bit more. Yeesh ! Good thing I have all summer to get it done ,lol. Bruce
