In hind sight I should have scrapped the 1996 mower years ago. Four new tires, new coils, new
ignition module, new control module, new battery, new starter, three new mower spindles, new carb.
The broken off part is also part of the oil filler and level check.
Considering just grinding the broken stub off the side of the engine, drilling, tapping then
install a generic valve. That thin oil soaked aluminum will be fussy to weld.
