Rusted rear rim/drive hub

47 UTS MM rear rim/drive hub rusted & corroded together due calcium chloride leak. 2/3 of way around wheel & hub. What can be done to get them apart? They really rusted and tightly stuck!! Need ideas. Thx

Depends on if you are trying to save the rim. If you have the tire off, sawsall the rim as close as you dare to the cast center, then split what remains with a cold chisel. Use the chisel as a wedge. That's what I did on a '48 UTS. (Of course, your center are heavier.

I have also heard of people driving the center out with a jackhammer, but the guy did chip the rim a few places.

I would start with soaking it with some PB Blaster or Kroil for a while, then loosen the bolts and drive/roll it.
