I'm partly done with the LA Times crossword puzzle in the Sunday paper and I came across a four letter word ending in "t" that's a fertilizer ingredient.

Haven't solved it yet but I don't think it's the obvious.

Could be salt. Occasionally I haul potash fertilizer, which is a form of salt. Nothing else really comes to mind, other than the obvious four letter fertilizer word! :lol:
