16 tractors, huh?

Letsee now..................add the 7.........multiply by 14.............carry the 6...................divide by 2...............add age factor of tractors............................figure in a Mr. Murphy factor of 3.5...................(scratching head, tapping pencil on paper, hunting aspirin bottle since thinking produces severe headache) ah, here we go..........................................comes out to something broke or falling off about 13 of them most of the time. Sound about right??

Aw geez, after all the work you did,I sure hate to make you go through all of that again, but I only have 11. I suppose somebody could find a formula to convert it to and from a fraction without doing all of the math over again.
Sometimes there's 13 things wrong with 11 of them,so overall, you're probably not wrong.

If it wasn't February weather out there today,I'd open up the cab roof on the 2-105 and see if I can find out why the radio lights up but doesn't make a sound, but I'd rather work in silence for days on end than work out in that wind.

Well, they ARE Olivers .. ....rrlund, sounds more like a speaker problem, just hook up a spare and see if it works, should not have to get too far into it. Ben

I tried to drop the speaker under the radio down, but when I tried to take a screw out,I found out quick that it had a nut up inside. I'll have to unbolt the right side of the roof and tip it up on the hinges to see what's going on.
I put a newer digital radio with a tape deck in the 2-135,but that's not the best idea. Those need a live wire to keep the presets and I didn't even want to attempt to get one run up through there. When I'm hauling manure or something like that,I turn the key to accessory when I shut it off,but if I don't,I have to go through the whole process of finding the station I want every time I start the tractor.

At least yours will have a metal roof. When it tipped up the roof on my 2955, I quickly discovered that water from the a/c had seized the hinges, and I cracked the fiberglass mounts, turning a small job into an expensive one. Ben

I have the same number of tractors(I think as I run out of fingers when counting) and your math is right. There are always several that need something fixed and one or two parked for large repair.Dad always said parts or payments. I wonder what it would be like to have nothing that needs shop time? Tom
