Ford 4000 1964 row crop wide front.( steering drag)

Looking to put a regular steering drag link rod on
my ford row crop" wide front "1964 4000 tractor. It
had the power assist on it but pump was shot so I
am going to rebuild it but still want to use my tractor
in the mean time will a regular 8n drag link fit these
tractor and mount on the right ?
 
What I figured /: the one that is on it now which mounts to the cylinder near the front wheels I have seen where people have taking it off and took a regular tie rod end which had a screw end on it in which the front end tie rid screws into it to make a complete drag link ? Here is a pic of a row crop model with one as I am talking about ....

There had to be a regular Manuel drag link I have operators Manuel which says it was an option on these models for power assist or not? Wonder if any out there or on eBay ?
 
Power steering I think was standard on the 4000. Everyone I've seen has had it.

I removed the power steering from my 62 4000. I made a drag link with a heavy pipe and welded a nut on each end. I bought joints for a late 60's Ford pickup.
 
Yeah I have noticed that most dos have the power assist cylinders on them even the 961 models etc. mine was leaking fluid down onto lower radiator tube and running into the belts in which I had to take it off and clean everything out good. Anyways I seen one a while back at show here in town it was a 1963 I think it had a Manuel drag link arm and it was the same as the one on the power steering models. Instead of mounting to the cylinder it ran up to a drag link and then hooked to another one that was hooked to the steering arm at the front of the tractor ? One drag link had a screw end on it that mounted to the other one . I'm just trying find something to replace in the mean time so I can keep using it until I get the eaton pump fixed .
