What chemicals or blend of chemicals will kill poison ivy, honey suckle, grass and this vine that climbs on everthing?

Thanks, geo

Go with a brush killer like crossbow or generic called crossroads. My be good idea to add so crop oil or even some soap SP it will stick good.

if you have an applicators license, you can buy crossbow, if not, grab some 41% generic roundup from the farm store, and some 2-4d. mix 8 oz round up, 8 oz 2-4 d and a couple squirts of dish soap with 2 gallons of water in a spot sprayer and spray. burns poison ivy down real good. watch your drift with wind for the 2-4d

I have the same stuff on my place. I posted a pic of it on here a few years ago. Most said it was Chinese honey suckle. It will just laugh at round up. But cross bow will burn it down but it comes right back the next year. I burned a large patch of it in a brush fire and that made it grow like crazy.

Yea my goats keep the stuff, called Ground Ivy around here, eat right down and none on my fences.Neighbors have it all over their trees and fences.Worse than Kudzu because it doesn't kill back in freezing weather.

The pictured plant looks to be a clematis vine. Nice plant and good ground cover for steep areas.

Could be.

Either clematis or Chinese honey suckle.

Clematis good

Chinese honey suckle bad.

Good to know, I have both round up and 2-4d. Never thought about dish soap. I'll give it a try. thanks geo.

Does Roundup not kill it? I mix 12 oz per gallon of 41% glyphosphate for woody plants and it kills poison ivy very well.

That's euonymous like jay said. It's so waxy it's hard to kill. Use the soap trick or cheap surfactant at rural king and 2-4-D. Beat it up with string trimmer first will help

I don't get poison ivy but my wife is real sensitive to it. We used to get ammonium thiosulfate crystals from a local hardware but I haven't seen it in a long time. Worked like roundup.

Round Up at the highest mix will kill it. The per mix comes in two mixes regular and ivy mix. I buy concentrate and mix to the ivy label. The best results I have had is to cut the vine with a corn knife and spray the cut.
