Flowers for Mr Wilson

View from back door. We have flowers for every season. Irises are at their peak. Soon others will bloom, replacing the irises.

The boss is always using the mule to relocate flowers. There is always a competition between flowers and one variety will take over, so relocating is necessary.

Her retirement goal is to fill the gravel pit with flowers. Took a ride on mule last night to view years of work. It's a quarter tour if interested.

Always looking for flowers we don't have.

Bring something to put them in.

We have those flowers on this side of the pond too. Daffys and tulips are done. Irises and sweet William still in season. More flowers to bloom in summer and fall

Nice to see and appreciate, makes you forget how winter can be. Around here, there is something in bloom until early summer. I forget when the old Catalpa tree blooms here but its really nice looking when it does. Makes me wonder how honey bees would do around your place. There is nothing like the local wildflower honey I've been getting. Lots of variables with beekeeping, but well worth it though when its successful like the beekeeper is that I get the honey from 40 miles west of here.

Great work Geo!
I really respect the gardener who can make flowers in bloom all year long.
All I've got are a few Iris's and TONS of resurrection lilies. I'd be happy to send you some of those! WI to TN, might have to wait.

it would be tuf to get thru customs ,plants nd or flowers across the big water ,there is a good reason ,...even , Hawaii , alaska ,and Bahamas .are careful what you carry around the globe,,.. before ww2 the hawaian islands were virtually snake free ,.it is thought the imported banana crates changed that, there are now snakes on oahou and maui but they are extremely rare . .my sara and I brought seeds for Sicilian persimmons back ,,this persimmon is as big as a tomato and looks similar at 1st glance,, they do not have to endure a freeze to release the sugar ,one could eat one , like a fig or apple,. they can turn into soup sandwich , my Sara as a girl would eat them with a spoon in a bowl as a snack after school we did not have any problem because the seeds were with the ROSARY'S we got at the Vatican., and they musta fit rite in with the beads ..,on another trip pre 9-11,.. sara told me she brought some 10-12 lbs of Sicilian coldcut / sausage, ect , that is near impossible to find here ,,only to have it seized in Chicago customs ,.. to this day she dispises those lying s-obs in chicago would choke on that sausage ...she is certain they enjoyed her coldcuts and sausage ,,. that was in 1995,. never cross a Sicilian Italian
