I see those little rubber wheels on the back there where the expiration date is stamped in. I always wondered. Jim

Hey that is a prety good demonstration. last time I explain the planting of corn was when a friend of mine was planting the whole ear of corn in the ground. I had to show him that it was seed not an ear of corn.

Several years ago, while boarding a plane a stewardess was explaining to a passenger that peanuts were not a nut at all, and that they actually grew in the ground! She must have felt that she was quite intelligent by revealing this.

35 years ago I was in high school, I had taken some photos of home to show my English teacher. One was a corn field with nice straight rows. She remarked about the straight rows, I explained that if you follow the planter mark with the tractor you can get them pretty straight, she said, "Oh, they use a machine to plant?"

Fellow told me the other day that he planted green beans in a small garden. His city neighbor lady asked what he was doing and she decided to try it. She dug up a small spot and planted. When he asked where she got her seed, she said she opened a can of green beans and put them in the ground.

I laugh when I see people selling "starts" on craigslist....including sweetcorn. $2 for a corn plant...I guess they sucker people into thinking the plant will just keep putting on ears LOL! A guy I know that is into exotic produce "started" 300 corn plants in his greenhouse and transplanted them last week. Always something for a good laugh with city kids!

No. The climate here is too hot for spaghetti. But out ravioli and lasagne bushes do really good.....

Man I don't watch TV so had to google what you were talking about, I was like WTF! One of the links headline says "Ashley struggles with everyday tasks" Ya think.

We took my wife's best friend to a bbq place out in the country where there was a large field of sunflowers. She turned to me and asked
how the farmer got the flowers to point in one direction. So I began explaining the intricacies of placing the seeds on a strip of tape
all very carefully pointing in the same direction. ;7)

And I bet she believed it! LOL Did you explain the whole fence
thing for holding plants like green beans or climbing roses up?
That takes a lot of tape. And some awesome skills! ;)
