went to remove a swarm of bees, when i arrived there were 3 seperate swarms hanging on the same branch, 2 large ones and a small one. something i'd never saw before....anyone ever saw more then one swarm at a time ?????

About 1970 we had two swarm get in a barn. Both were big swarms. A bee keep came and got them. He would give us several jars of honey each year.

Back decades ago when I still did bees we had more then one time where we caught 2 or 3 swarms close to each other but do not ever remember more then one per branch

several years ago I came home one night and there was a large swarm on a pine tree branch. I contacted a bee keeper who was very glad to get them. About a week later when hauing brush to a pile I spotted 2 swarms on a tree branch, probably 2 feet apart. again called bee keeper and he took them away. Hadn't seen a swarm on my place in years and haven't seen one since. 3 in one year kind of unusual

we were re-roofing a commercial building, foreman yelled STOP STOP!!!!! a swarm of bees came cruising past, right up in the middle of us, we waited a few minutes, they all cruised past, heading south. Nobody got stung.
