Deere cycle

boy thats a young mans bike...hard hard tail...to bad its not a john deere motor....but i do like the rain caps on mufflers.....dewy
 
If its like the new JD tractors ( and some Claas tractors with JD engines)that they sell on The European market it will be continually blowing head gaskets.
 
I don't think that really fits in with the "biker culture". Pulling up along side a bunch of Bandidos at a biker bar would be . . . awkward.
 
I don't know. One of the dope growers here used to wear his seed corn cap backwards under his helmet.
 
I see it as someone using his imagination and talent to build something unusual. Nothing bad about that is there? No, you wouldn't see me riding that thing.
 
It must have a hand throttle by the engine and a governor on it, cause I see no throttle or cable or front brakes,or any on the rear.lol
 
Nephew converted a Kaw to a Deere cycle. He used JD paint and decals. He had bike stripped, some parts powercoated, seat with JOHN DEERE stiched in.

Included a pic of my mom and dad next to an Indiana chief. Pic was taken some time around 1940 BC, Before Children.

Is that because of the tremendous heat build up due to the exhaust gas regeneration? That happens every 50-100 hours and power loss is around 2% during the active regeneration phase. Fendt has done a lot of advertising over here poking fun at John Deere over this.
