really a shot in the dark

but is anyone familiar with the old "Hahn" high-boy sprayer? The drive chains to rear wheels on mine need to be tightened. What am I going to find for tighteners when I take the shields off? Is there an idler sprocket or will I be putting some shims behind bearings? Got one tank full sprayed today but had to quit. Got to windy. I noticed the chains had been slapping already last year and was reminded of it again today. Might finish this year with it the way it is because tomorrow I am going back to planting corn. I can figure it out myself but thought someone might know.

Can't answer that question.Just wondering how you made out with the 1660 combine with the engine replacement or did you get a different one?

All the Hahns I've seen are front wheel drive.

I've seen an ancient Hagie that was rear drive but I don't remember the tensioners. I don't remember any guards on it.

Sorry I can't help. I'd just take it apart and look.

RT(very much my 2?)
