Sitting in the weeds...

Started cutting out brush and small trees to get some old implements out of a friends fence row. Gonna pull out the disc next time I'm over that way with a tractor.

Looks like there's a 8 foot disc, JD sickle bar mower, 3 bottom ford 101 plow, farmall 2 bottom fast hitch plow, 3 point boom pole, 2 drags not in the pics, and most the parts to a 3 point sickle bar mower not in the pics.

The Ford plow is gonna need a bit of work but there's a pile of plow share's and what not next to the old barn. On of the drags is complete and the other is missing lots of springs.

Don't have any use for the sickle bar mowers so those will probably stay. The farmall plow is gonna stay for now too unless I get a farmall tractor.

Actually that fast hitch plow for the Farmall collectors is most likely the most valuable item there.

I would say the JD cycle mower, if in good condition, would be the higher priced item of the bunch. All good pieces. Bob

That Ford plow can leave the prettiest, smoothest field in it's wake. We had one like it and plowed along side our 3 x 16 fast-hitch Farmall plow. There was no comparison. gm

I still think that because of collectors that the fast hitch plow is going to be the money maker. IH just didn't sell that many fast hitch implements to start with and ever fewer survive today. Now if you only have a market to the hobby farmer then the JD mower.

Rick

Small FH implements are relatively hard to find. I agree with others that the sickle mower would bring good money, possibly the top of the bunch. The Ford moldboard would not do badly either.

First thing I'd drag home is that IH C20 plow. When I got the itch to buy one the only one I could find was up by Oshkosh Wi., about a 4+ hour drive and had to give $250 for it, must of been 15 or 20 years ago.

Funny how it is, I'd be in the opposite order of what is valuable to get compared to your list! Someone will love cleaning up after you clean up, you are leaving the good parts! :)

Paul

I'd love to take it all but I am paying for it all and Dad has this little rule about junk in the yard. ;)

So for now it's only what I can use at the moment. I think I'm one of 3 or 4 people that know it's all there and most the other guys didn't know what that green hedge trimmer thing was, LOL.

That C20 fast hitch plow would bring a minimum of $300 in any complete condition. If the boards shins and points are good up to $500 painted. That of course is up in my area.
