The last one I saw like that was sticking it's tongue (the head of the valve) out at me.

Unfortunately I has to treat it as a warranty job, even though the part that broke was a brand new, fully loaded head bought because the old one was cracked. Several months after the engine was repaired I was doing another job for the same customer. He came up and handed me enough cash to cover all my expenses, and then some for the engine repair. He said he know what happened wasn't my fault, and that he didn't expect me to eat the complete cost on the second repair.

When it's all said and done, it's customers like this that make me enjoy working for them.
