Had a 8yr old lawn sweeper & the pinion that turns the wheels in opposite direction went bad & they didnt have this part anymore. OHIO STEELCompany sent me a new front assembly with new wheels, sweeper brush as shown in the picture free of charge including shipping.

Yes there are a few out there yet. A month ago I called the Truax Co. and talked to the owner who loaded me up with info on an old model no-til drill that I bought on auction...and sent me out an operators/parts manual for free. Just got off the phone with a plow parts company out of southern Idaho that normally sells through dealers only, but agreed to sell me the parts I needed and would not hold me to a minimum....and after visiting with him for awhile even offered a 15% discount.

Since you mentioned o-HI-o... we have interesting poly-tic-all ads. Gov. Kasick says under his watch we've (he?) created 400,000 new jobs. Then right at the same time there's another bandied about against Ted Strickland which says the opposite. That one says we've LOST 400,000 jobs and Ted raised taxes by $1.5 billion. Someone needs to compare notes. But, like you said-- there are some good honest BUSINESSES still around here.

gtractorfan , that's so true I thought the exact same thing when I heard those bozos' I'm inclined to think we lost 400,000 though...

I'm glad for you that they did that but I wonder how long a company that gives away, what strike me as (compared to the value of the sweeper), expensive parts for 8 year old lawn sweepers will stay in business.
Were they defective or just worn out? Inquisitive minds want to know...

Yes but on this site look how much free advert they just got. They can also be very nice folk!

Ted Strickland was gov. before Kasick. Strickland really had Ohio in a mess and Kasick has helped to straighten it out. But my taxes have not went down despite what they say about lowering them !

The 400,000 were lost (?, seems like more) under Strickland as Gov. and that number came back under Kasich. For others here not from Ohio, Strickland is now running against Rob Portland for US Senate. he's been doing something in DC for the nnalert and external_link. Unfortunately this state is a purple state (half red, half blue) and I fear we are going to tip blue and lose any progress that has been made to attract new business and keep what we have. Too easy to slip down the dark side of more taxes and regulations.
