Cleveland Tractor Company. The General was the only wheel tractor they ever made, I think. Never had seen the two side by side, thanks for the pic.

I had a little HG crawler in the late 80's. Wish I had kept it. Had a blade on it that I built and my own add on hydraulics.

We had a little wide gauge Cletrac when I was young, Dad bought it for packing down logging roads in the early winter. Most winter logging is done out in swamps and if you pack down the tall grass and brush the road will freeze faster and deeper to support equipment. Because the Cletracs were so wide and light they could travel on very soft ground, a lot different use than they got in AZ!

We owned a OC3. with a loader. Not powerful enough to work the bucket, but useful for loose sand and gravel. It needed track clutches in a big way to allow real turning track brakes with no clutches suck up power!! Jim

There is a guy who brings one to one of the farm fairs I go to. It is so neat when he runs along with it. It makes this little metallic sounding , clackety, clackety, clackety sound as it goes along. Almost sounds like a bunch of the neighborhood kids having some kind of a parade.
