we have a international 470 disc has 7,5 inch spacing and is 16 feet wide, how do you get it to stop hilling so much in the center of the rear gangs tried changing angle and small blades, also a person thought that the gangs were to close, we also have a 490 disc that is a 21 footer and that will lay out a very level swath with no hilling, they are so similar but cannot figure out why 470 does this the hills are even kind of rough to drive over and very noticeable, thanks for any replies, also had a lot of questions about hip replacement back in December, finally after 4 months it is starting to come around I thank everybody for those replies back then as that was a very miserable time with the 2 surgeries in less than a week

Had the same problem with or 18 footer , i just had to get the back gang set as it had moved due to ware on the stops . Just take your time and see where it has ware and move the outsides forward . There and old piece of equipment that has been beat hammered on banged into fence posts and trees , my buddy has ripped both sides off on trees and i have to glue them back on and keep everything in alignment and that can be a chore . I have heated beat on pulled on it with a tractor had to make up new hinges straighten gang stands , hate to tell ya how many pounds of 7018 that has been used on it to keep it going .

I agree with jon f mn The rear depth may be as much as 20% more shallow than the front. When using it as 2 stage tillage. As first tillage (especially in weeds and stalks) it might be near equal depth. Jim
