All these years iv never posted it, my childhood friend bought this 1974 ford 2000 in 2003 from one of my customers. The owner bought it new to grow truck crops on 4 acres, I bought the Dearborn plows and mf disc harrow, when we went to pick them up, my friend saw the tractor and bought it from the owners son, as the dad had Parkinson's and was put in a home. The tractor with the plow is my friends dads farmall superH. The rims on his 2000 are grey! Lol

that looks like a good one! Mine is a 1973 6 speed ,,ia that one an 8 speed or 6?The rim centers were blue on mine from the factory,, I know you never did believe me,,,lol...but I bought the tractor from the original owner,he never painted it?
 
Yes I believe his is an 8 speed, I will look tomorrow as I have to feed his cows for him. I guess ford went to gray rims after your model year! I also can't remember does yours have red letters on it like his does?
 
I did paint the tractor when I got it,but the centers were blue,the decals on it now I sent for,so we cant go by them anyway,,lol We will get an answer,,Im going to take your question to the Ford forum,,,,meet me down there,,,,,lol
