just mount it on the tractor

Must be a 1938 with starter or a CI as the cI had starter optional. Always wondered what bone headed decision did not allow 1929 to 1937 C and CC to not be at least offered with starter? Thats a hefty power steering. Guess once on the thing in morning had to stay on all day as would be really difficult to get on and off.

I would leave it like it is, just clean off the worst of the dirt. If someone brought that to a tractor show it would probably draw a pretty good crowd. Anymore I spend more time looking at the tractors in their working clothes and those that have been "farmerized" more than I look at the cookie cutter rows of nicely painted restored tractors that you can see at every show.

I like it!!! It would be a real comversation peice at any tractor show.
A great example of makeing what you got, do the job you got to do, with some home grown mods.

That is what I was thinking.. In it,s day somebody really rigged up a bunch of stuff. Been changed to an alternator. Guess it was better than a shovel.

(quoted from post at 14:29:50 04/02/16) And they had to cobble it up by putting an alternator on it. lol

judging from the condition of the hoses and steel, it looks like it was done a long time ago.

I see a lot of controls on there. And no seat. Looks like, Oops, bumped the wrong control and broke something is what would happen if I had it.

Laugh all you want, but the builder cleaned up the iron pile and did not have a tired back from digging holes and filling them back and grading them flat.
