I had perfect circle type valve seals put on the MH44 head when I had it off to fix the head gasket leak. It had always puffed a little blue when starting, even after new valves and guides. There is no puff now, I am very pleased and would recommend that.

I have been the champion of PC style seals since I was 19 years old. They meter appropriate oil and maintain intake vacuum. almost required on vehicles that maintain environmental standards and live to 250K miles. Jim

I will put them on my H when I redo it.

The only constraint that I ran into on the MH was the groove on the valve stem had to not enter the seal. The existing cam lift is OK, but I am limited on how much I can change that in the future.

Or cut the exposed valve stem shorter. Jim

already did, I can add about 1/8 of lift and still be OK.
