OT update on shoulder

I got a cortisone shot in my shoulder Monday, it felt great the first 24 hours, and got progressively more sore after that, might be getting a little better today.
 
There funny things they have been doing therapy on my shoulder for 2 months . Not much improvement I wish they would take an x ray . Did have a cortisone shot in hand and that has been ok for several years
 
I remember my mom had said she had a frozen shoulder one time years ago which she got a cortisone shot for. The doctor gave her a shot and then a shot of novocaine. She asked him shouldn't you have done that first, he said "That is for later"....
 
Sounds like it's time to see and orthopedist. They are known to take X-rays before they determine what should be done.
 
My wife has a drug phobia that she got from her mother, I have to sneak to take ibuprofen, so live with pain most of the time, just easier.
 
Never mind the x-ray, won't show the problem, and don't let the "workman's comp" people screw up your body trying to save money for the company. Insist on an MRI, it will show the problem that the x-ray won't. My right shoulder has been painful for over three years, went to Dr. after two years and he wanted the MRI, Medicare Healthspring Ins. said no, x-ray and physical therapy. Year later they finally consented to the MRI, results were torn rotator cuff that the x-ray didn't show and the extra time just made the problem worse. Back in 1991 my back was injured at work, "workman's comp" Dr.'s said nothing wrong. Six months later after losing case because of no evidence the same Orthopedic surgeon put me in a Cat Scan and announced that I had a herniated disc, never pick up more than 10 pounds or sit more than 45 minutes at a time for the rest of my life. Don't let them ruin your health so they can save some money!
