Compact tractor PTO and gear modification?

Current project tractor is a little Mitsubishi S470D 4wd diesel with a bad transmission that I?m re building. This tractor has a 3 speed PTO?.. 540 rpm, 820 and 1300. One of the damaged gears is the 820rpm PTO gear.
I?m used to bigger stuff so not really familiar with compacts. Would I ever need 820 rpm PTO speed for any attachments that might be available for this little tractor?

I?m thinking I could probably save the $$$ for this gear and turned the teeth down on a lathe or grinder, so it just becomes a spacer. Would this work?

It appears this same tractor was also re badge in the early 80's by Case and sold as their model 234, and the Case version only has 540 rpm PTO. Looking at the Case parts diagram for this tractor, it looks like the higher PTO gears were replaced buy a ?PTO Clutch? which is probably just a spacer.
Thanks,

Not much use for anything other than a 540 pto here in the US ? Don't know about where your at ? Some of the woods mowers sold for imports you had to use the odd speeds. Bought a used kubota flail mower that turned out it was set up for those fast speeds so it would not work on my 540 tractor.

I run my 540 grain auger with my 681D ford with the pto in the 1000 rpm mode. Just barely fast idle the engine, it'll load a lot of grain on little for fuel. No need to run 1800 engine revs to get 540 in that mode as don't need that much power on my auger.

I'm familiar with both 540 and 1000. I apologize for not being familiar with 1800. What runs at 1800, and how much HP to run it? Sorry for being a dummy, but if I don't ask, I'll never know. And by the way, I hope that someone else hasn't already asked so that I'm not beating a dead horse.

Thanks in advance.

Mark

820 and 1300 rpm are new to me too, im assuming they were in there for mowers offered by the manufacture, giving different blade speeds, with 15 hp, that's what they would be mainly used for

My B-7100 Kubota has a high an low pto (front and rear). Front is around 1200 rear is 540. Front is for a belly mower. Don't know about 820, but have never heard of it.
