OT Update on shoulder

I went to the doctor yesterday, he does not think there is anything torn, gave me a shot of cortisone and said it might take a couple of weeks to calm down. I really wanted to cut up enough wood this upcoming weekend to use for a firepit for my daughter, but do not think I can hold the saw that long. I guess that I will have to wait it out.

Same thing happened to me a year ago, doc said nothing torn. I had just overdone it for too long. Eventually back to normal on it's own.

Exercise. Mine got better a few years ago when I lifted weights over the winter. Got real bad again, but nine weeks on the elliptical and I'm good as new again.

Buy your daughter a smaller Jonsered! When I was looking for my newest one a dealer told me that was a model that was popular with women, I still bought one, but from a different dealer. It's a great saw to carry on the tractor or 4-wheeler. 45 cc, 16 inch bar, compression release, and a primer.

My shoulder was the same way. After a cortisone shot it was getting better, until I started therapy. every time I left therapy it was worse. I could see it was doing no good, except causing my insurance co. money. I stopped therapy. A month or so later I got another shot, and it's so much better. I am in no more pain. Still needs a repair, but my hip replacement comes first. I can start my saw now, and put on my own shirt. I was so bad I couldn't put on my shirt with out help. Just take it easy for a while you should be back to work. Stan
