In PA we get a channel called (I think) rfv tv. Its a great channel of farming ,tractors and such. I saw last week they are fighting to stay on the air,Some powers to be want it off? We dont get the channel in nj,,,but keeping up with the Kardacians ,and a million shows of Alaska ,and all kinds of stupid stuff is on the air,But the farm show is struggling? Go figure?

RFD. Verizon FIOS dropped it,but everybody else who carries it will keep it on.

Personally, I'm getting real tired of continuous reruns of Mecum Auctions and Classic Tractor Feaver. I don't like all the horsey shows either, except for Gentil Giants. Rural Evening News is real good.

I just don't understand people complaining about bad programming.
Shut off your TV and go read a book.

TV is getting more disappointing all the time, we get hundreds of channels, and often there is nothing to watch. Even the weather channel, I used to go there to get a weather update, last night it was "Fat guys in the woods". Who in the heck watches that kind of stuff for it to get good enough ratings to stay on the air? That is just one example of many.

I have to agree with you on the Mecum Auction show. I don't even watch it anymore. If I see one more restored 4020 sell,I think my head will explode. Every time I even flip to it to see what they're selling,that's what's on the screen.

I hate waisting time reading books !!! worse than waisting time watching reruns, but I can use the channal changer or I go to my shop and build things, or go outside and work at my many projects.

I like RFD TV not everthing on it,but most of it. I have seen all the alligators shot and all the picks i will ever need to see ect ,ect ect

All the History is anymore Modern day Reality TV, I've written them many times
& refuse to watch my once upon a time favorite TV Show.

I have had it with all the TV commercials, 4 minutes of commercials and 5 minutes of show,,and the commercials are "so Stupid" and repetitious.. I have dropped Direct TV, got a Free TV antenna, I get local and national news,,still get the commercials but I am not paying $100 per month for the opportunity to watch them,, I hooked up with NetFlix and I love it,, 100's of movie options and a lot of old TV series for $10 per month and "NO" commercials..

Your cable or satellite company is probably who is trying to drop RFDtv or push it into a higher cost package. Check if you can stream the channel on your computer at no cost or a low subscription fee.

Really started enjoying Get, Grit, Movies!, Me, Antennea, This, H&I.

Wife and I sit around in the evening waiting for 9:00 and Hogans Heroes to come on....

Not sure if that is good or sad?

The big 4 networks seem to be lost, when The Big Bang Theory and The middle goes off the air what is left, the sports channels are fragmenting up and carving up the cable money until they implode. Where do we go from there.....

You never hear people complaining about a book they're reading. But you frequently hear people complaining about bad TV programming.
Why is it so hard to shut off your tv?

Well, judging by how well many here spell and punctuate, it's quite possible that they cannot read well either and choose to defer to mind numbing television programing.

How can people even AFFORD TV? We live in an area that has ZERO digital stations within reach, and cannot afford the price of satellite.

You forgot to hit "spell check" It is "programming" not "programing".

I only point this out to the people that make a big stink of proper punctuation and spelling.

Personally, I don't mind peoples spelling, we all make mistakes.
Making a spelling mistake whilst pointing out someone else lack of spelling is quite ironic.
