So I found this 6:70X15 tire in my old tire pile. I am needing a small size tire in the 165-195X15 for my MOCO since it need a small narrow tire so doe this cross over to so where in those numbers??
Thanks

A straight across conversion would be 6.70 inches x 25.4 mm per inch gives 170 mm so you'd be in the ballpark. The only glitch might be the aspect ratio, i.e. tire face width to wall height.

Width is my problem not height so as long as it is 195X15 or smaller I will be good to go as long as it is still good enough to hold a tube

Based on the specs that I can find your 6.70-15 tire is about 28 inches tall and has a sidewall width of just over 7 inches. If described in the metric nomenclature this tire could be called something like a 185/85-15 where the "185" is the width in millimeters, the "85" is the ratio of the sidewall height to the tire's width, and of course "15" is the rim size.

You can calculate the approximate height of any metric designation tire by taking two times the width times the aspect ratio (as a decimal, such as .85 for the example above) and adding the rim diameter. However, there is no way of calculating the height of a tire with the "xx.x-xx" size designation since the sidewall height to width ratio isn't listed.

6.70X15 implement tires are still available. I bought one a few years back for a Deere plow. I think it was less than $100 do it shouldn't break the bank.

If your local tire dealer can't fix you up, you can contact Tucker Tire in Dyersburg, TN or view their store on eBay.

The tire that blew out on this NH 460 MOCO is a 165/80RX15 and I have this 670X15 that is old but still looks like it will hold a tube so why buy when I have it on hand already I jsut need to figure out if a 6:70X15 is close to a 165/80RX15
