Looking for member Jim Buford from Medina, TN

By looking at the member map, I noticed Jim Buford was from Medina, TN. I recently acquired a John Deere tractor registry from Medina, TN and would like some more information about the dealership. It lists tractors from the letter series through to 4020s. Serial numbers, owners, special equipment on some, and town they were sold to. I also noticed Frank Dodson was close in Jackson, TN. I thought about listing some of these tractors serial numbers if anyone was interested.

Last tractor dealership I remember in Medina was around 1961, and it was a Massey dealership I thought. I am 72 years old and do not remember a JohnDeer dealership in Medina but that does not mean there was not one. I was gone from here working for uncle sam 60-68.
 
There was a Deere Dealership in Huntingdon at one point. In recent years they only had a CCE contract. I'm not sure that they are even still a licensed dealer.

I would think there would have been a dealer at Milan, Humboldt and in Jackson. If there was one in Medina I'm sure it got eaten up early in the game by Milan or Jackson since they are in such close proximity and would have been larger towns than Medina.

Too bad you don't have the records from Caldwell Equipment in Newbern, TN. My folks bought a 4020 new from them in 1970. I'd love to get the paperwork on that one..
 
Scratched out in the front of the registry is Medina County Feed and Supply Co. Does that sound familiar?
 
I have lived in the area for 44 years and I don't recall any new dealerships in Medina. Up until about 15 years ago Medina was a very small town. Medina has a very good school system therefore Medina is growing rapidly. I recall a used tractor dealership that also sold new Vermeer balers but they went out in 2001. There was a JD dealership at Humboldt which is about 10 miles from Medina and I think there was one in Milan which is about 7 miles away. Milan had a Oliver dealership. If these were Olivers I would be interested. JD green isn't the right shade.
