DMI clamp on duals

Hello all,I'm new to the forum, long time reader first time poster, but I have a dilemma I need a little help with,I bought a set of DMI clamp on duals last week for my 4430,they came in with no hardware so I ordered what I needed, mine have the inner ring with the bunch of 1/2"holes and the guy sent me t-rail clamps,I have seen pics of the right hardware but the c clamp and other iron look have me baffled as to ho they fit to wheels,,I was wondering if anyone could help as axle duals are all I have experience with thanks

Got a picture of what you have? We've got clamp on duals that have the rail all around the inside, and the hook bolts just use a 3/4"heavy nut. I made up a socket to use the impact wrench to install/remove them. Can do both tractors in about an hour if I've got my ducks in a row.

sorry about the doubles pics, trying to figure it all out,the pics of the clamps and all threads I can't seem to find, they aren't mine, furthermore I don't know how you would install them without them falling off

yes I have the eyenuts,if u look close at the clamps at both ends it doesn't seem as they would hook on and stay very well

i have those kind on my 930 dad had them on a 2470 get them tight they wont come off.
we got them so the end that hooks to the eyelet points in closed end kinda points at the band.

hanks for the replys,Delta th pics I posted I found on the web, they are t mine,I gu ss my next ? is what are all the hes in the rim for because from I can tell is that the dual clamp has no holes attaching it to the wheel thanks

I'm guessing those are for the clamp bolts to hold it to the tractor's wheel. Ours are slightly different, but they all work on the same principal. All you do is clamp them to your wheels, the hook bolts are the means of drawing them tight. If you don't have them quite tight enough, the dial will soon a small amount inside the lip of your tractors rim, but that ultimately draws it in tighter. They're not liked by everyone, but they work just fine and usually can be had cheaper than bolt on duals. Also can be installed on tractors that have no other option for mounting duals, such as our Massey 285. The axle doesn't have a clamp on hub like row crop tractors do, so no way to have a hub for bolt on duals.

This is the best shot I can find of the duals on our 1855. They're slightly different in that instead of all the holes around it, it just has what's basically angle iron welded all the way around the inside to create the lip for the clamps to grab onto.

For the ones you show, you must have to remove the nut/hardware, slide the threads through the hole with the hook towards the tractor, and then put the hardware back on. To install, I always have to drive up onto a block to be able to get the ring inside the rim, and then push it in the rest of the way, atleast until you can get one of the top hooks to grab the eye on the tractors wheel. From there you start to tighten and install more clamps, being careful to tighten as evenly as possible.

The extra holes in the band on the dual wheels is so one can choose which hole lines up the best with each eye bolt on tractor wheel.
