When I baled my last few bales I parked the Oliver 77 hooked to the baler out back where I always do. I went out this after noon to bring the 77 and baler up to the shed. It would not fire. No power to the coil. Took the distributor cap off and the points were closed with the points rub tab was on the lobe. When the cap was lifted off number plug end fell down. It was broke off at the bottom of the porcelain. I tried to loosen the hold down screw on the points and it was so tight I had to get vise grips on the head to turn it out. I set the points and the old girl started right up with a miss of course. I'll put in a new set of plugs and change the oil tomorrow. That old howlin wind must have blown right thru the side curtains and raised cane with the points and plug. The tractor has never been used without the side curtains. Probly the same wind that loosened the screws on the fence charger, cut the feed wires to the fence and grounded the fence to a steel post.
I want to rebail 10 round baled into small squares so I can handle the hay to get into the five different places I have horses.
