Weight loss

I did the math. Since I started chemo treatments 7 weeks ago, I've lost 28 lbs. I guess most of that is fluid and toxins that had gathered in my lymph glands. I eat the same things in the same amounts that I used to and am still losing weight. If pattern holds, I'll be below 200 by this time next week. I can afford that loss - and maybe a bit more. I'm thinking that will slow down by the next treatment.

However, it's a tough way to lose weight, so do not try this at home!

Reaching a livable weight the hard way is still a bennefit to the uncomfortable nature of the treatment. Best of fortune. Jim

I did chemo for my lymph nodes too, lost 80 lbs, went to hospital everyday for a cell booster shot and to be weighed,a few times I remember losing 5-6 lbs in a 24 hr period

Dang you old ADOT reject LOL. You best be taking care of yourself. A little weight loss is ok especially if you have plenty to lose anyway. Hope it all works out for ya.
I have beefed up to 280# so any loss would help me.
