critical error

just wondering, while trying to post topic on GMC below, I kept getting a "critical error, can't connect to data base" message. About 4 times. Happened on 2 different laptops. Anyone else seeing this?
 
I'm getting all sorts of random errors on this site this morning. So etching must be up, I would guess their server is having a crisis that will be
attended to soon? One of the messages I got was something about major maintenance over night until 5:00am, but we don't know what time
zone that refers to, and I would suspect a few gremlins are left in the system......

Been getting it off and on for a couple of days now.. suspect server has bad drive or overloaded....
 
thanks guys, figured it must be on their end, I use two routers, one in shop, and different one in the house. Really frustrating tho, had to redo the post 3 times to get it to go. At least by the third time I think I managed to say what I wanted to say.
