The site won't let me reply to your stuck trick picture, says that thread is broken......

It looks like you are disguising the wet clay soil you are on with some dry heavy topsoil? Ha ha.

I would not put that much dirt in a grain truck, I understand how the hoist got busted now. We always took one side off the grain truck and put a 1x6 inch board on that side, so we couldn't get too carried away. And keep the load centered. Dirt is heavy stuff, even 1/3 full is too much dirt compared to grain.

Paul, the pic explained a lot didn't it. I also hope the truck is sitting level where he is trying to dump. That stuff looks pretty sticky.

This is not dirt they are fine volcanic cinders way way lighter than dirt . And no I didn't dump it shoveled the whole thing off and pulled the truck out with the 4450

It looks like you're using a pretty large shovel for dirt. How do your arms feel today?

Interesting stuff, I need to get out more. :)

Thanks for the pics and your threads. Good stuff.

A neighbor had a truck like that stuck hauling crushed limestone only not quite as deep. We hooked his dualled up 7060 Allis with fluid in the tires to the truck and the tractor didn't begin to budge it. A track hoe was working there so the track hoe came up and reached out the bucket, we hooked the chain to the bucket and he pulled the truck out without grunting. I stood there with my mouth open.

Them ol track hoes have some power . Got a 24
foot case ih folding box drill stuck and the little track
hoe lifted it up and then we could pull the tractor
and drill out
