Got the spring wheat planted now on to some fertilizing and maybe get corn planter ready. Is early but rather be early than late.I have planted spring wheat as early thanksgiving We are in southern south Dakota Paul

The soil temp is too cold up here.... Castlewood. Too wet on top also and sprinkling as I type.

There's a snowdrift in the corner of the field that is still 3 feet deep and a winter storm watch for Wednesday with the possibility of up to 6" of snow. I won't be planting anything very soon. I've tried that before with mixed results. Now I wait until spring really gets here.
