That looks real good. If you tear that up, you probably shouldn't have been doing what you were doing!

And all those solutions you got like stiching it and replacing it.. Sure looks good as new to me. Like you say nobody ever greases the things.
 
so now we get a good picture of the item being welded, instead of a puzzle piece. good job.
 
I've fixed a good many and every one that I can recall it was from lack of greasing. It's one of my pet peeves. If you look at his it looks to never have been greased.
 
Yup - I'm kind of crazy when it comes to greasing the hoists on the grain trucks. They get abundant doses quite often.
 
Mine also. Especially if you have hired help running a piece of equipment. If a man walks up to a tractor and dont check the oil and then grab a grease gun. send him down the road..
