Follow-up to farm truck electrical issue

Evidently I have bought some bad mini-fuses. Hooked the trailer up the other night as we had to take a young bull in for testing. Had a trailer brake signal so I went underneath to the only spot where a three wires run together. Checked them, no problems, nothing under the hood after changing those relays out either. Went and pulled #6 fuse, has some discoloration so changed it, still nothing, checked fuse again, discoloration on the prongs again, changed that one, proceeded to blow. Put a fuse from another pack in, all the lights worked as they were supposed too. Run the bull in Saturday, no issues with anything, so hope it was a bad fuse batch. Thanks again for all the advice.

Both 20amp, first ones from multipack assortment were kind of light green.
The ones from straight pack were slightly darker green. Don't know if one is overrated or not. Just know that things are working now.

20 amp should be yellow, 30 amp is green. If you are using a 30 on a 20 amp circuit, you might let the smoke out.

Well... Let's hope it was bad fuses. Usually when a fuse melts on the end instead of the middle, it's because of a bad connection either in the fuse socket or where the wire attaches on the back. But, this type failure takes a while for the connection to heat up, not an instant blow like a short to ground.

If it happens again, pull the fuse block up and look on the back for heat discolored wires.
