Plans for a bakers fan

Hey everyone. I am interested in buying or building a bakers fan.
Doesn't anyone know of a source for one or plans they used?

Thanks Ryan

Hi Having seen Bakers fans work I would think buying a good one would be better than making one. with the speed they can turn at you are going to need a professional welder to put it together, then getting it perfectly balanced so it doesn't self destruct could be fun to. I'm kinda weary of them at shows. If for any reason that came apart, the mess is going to be interesting to say the least. I got lucky and brought an M&W pto dyno for $200. There was also an adapter for belt operation available. I don't have it but can build that by getting the dimensions from somebody that does have one.If I ever need to load belt pulley only tractors.
Regards Robert

I think that building a Baker's fan might be easy enough, but to build it so no one gets hurt would require some real forethought, planning, and probably some genuine engineering skills.

I ran a BIG squirrel cage blower one time someone found and mounted a belt pulley onto it. He varied the intake air to control load.
