Wise advice 'o the day...

I don't know bout that Randy, you might want to ask Willy Nelson or Wesley Snipes about not paying 100% of your taxes. Lol

Hi the first part isn't right with some jobs either. I figured out with a couple I had, work easy at 75-80% production. Get pushed a little harder when things are busy and work comfortable at 100%. If you dive right in at 100% , you 're kinda up the creek when things get busy and they expect 125% or more from you to try keep up.
One job that wasn't going well was grain truck driver, the owner wanted to update the header for 40% more combine capacity. I flat out told him he was going to loose 100% grain moving capacity . He said how come. Well it's fairly simple, I'm running round here like an idiot trying to keep up now for 2 weeks at 100%. there isn't 140% to give in this crazy grain handling set up. I'll quit, and you are going to be stuck!. about 2 days later he doubled the auger size and got another truck. I kinda had leverage that day as he couldn't replace me. eventually I did quit as the rest of the year was no better than harvest, with just me running the seed plant/yard most of the year and him part time when it was time to run the seeder/sprayer and combine .
Regards Robert
