There was really some clean equipment for sale at the auction today. There were several estate close outs. So here is a spread of brands:

CIH 8920 MFWD, duals, SHARP $57,000
Ford 5610 2wd, 3600 hors, cab, clean $11,000
White 2-105, real clean earlier model, 4000 hours, $11,000 ( This is actually one of the straightest, cleanest Whites I have ever seen)
JD 4255 2wd, 9000 hrs, 15 sp., $25,000
White 125 workhorse, 6700 hours straight but some weathering $20,500 ( Odd thing, this tractor sold last fall at this auction. The bidder was from Southern Missouri, He died before he came and got the tractor. So the tractor had to resale today.)

CIH 340 disk 24 foot, rock flex, 2011 model used on 100 acres. Looked like new $22,000
Kinze 6x30 planter with inter plant units, again looked like new $22,500
JD 4320 with JD cab with an after market ADC system, ran sweet!!! $11,000
JD 4630 one owner,8 Sp. PS, Duals, straight but weathered, $16,500 (this really surprised me in that while it was original tractor, it was nothing special)
Gleaner R50 combine 3000 hours CLEAN and I do mean clean $7000
6x30 corn header off that R50 $1500 (this R50 and corn head where a bargain to me. Lot of machine for the money)

That White 125 really worked the Auctioneer over. It was one of his tractors. He lets them go absolute. He told me he lost money on it last fall when it sold. He had a $25,000 bid on it then. It just sold for $20500.

Brown Swiss: No this one is different. I was at the sale when the other one sold. It had lower hours and was in perfect shape. This one is not bad but it does have some paint and interior issues. It is a 6-7 on a scale of 1-10. The other one was a 9-10.

That was a good deal on the R50. Looks like stuff is down a little but still not too bad. Joel seems to be getting pretty good prices on stuff. He has a good market going there.

Although I did not go there was an auction over by Cortland, NY with three JD 55 series row crops. I was told that the 4055 2WD brought 41,000 dollars. The 4455 MFWD and 4955 MFWD were around 45-50 thousand each. Good combines seem to be sagging in price.
